Don't Fix It

For what is an opera without champagne at a soiree?

Verdi, it seems, was deeply jealous of Chopin’s vodka, and immediately demanded his own alcoholic beverage. Thing is, Chopin = Polish = vodka makes sense to me. Shouldn’t it be, I don’t know… Verdi = Italian = amaretto or something? And then, say, Debussy gets his own champagne?

Kudos on the tiny bottle, though, signore.

About Jenn

Despite being the former digital marketing intern at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Jenn German does not like Mozart. Beethoven could've totally beaten him up. Also she has an arts management graduate degree from American University, but this changes nothing.
