Don't Fix It

Pay no attention to that composer behind the music!

Why write new music when you can use the perfect music that’s already been written? (I couldn’t find this scene isolated, but Mussourgsky starts at the very beginning of the video. Watch till it ends or till you’re bored although that’s unlikely.)

(Also, as my dad points out: when Dorothy asks for the broom, why does the soldier say “Yes, and take it with you”? Wouldn’t the latter be implicit? Also also, the Scarecrow says the Pythagorean Theorem wrong. Also also also, “Back where I come from, we have universities… and [men] have no more brains than you have. But they have one thing you haven’t got – a diploma!” is AWESOME. Also also also also, phla – philuh – phuluh – good deed do-ers. This movie is brilliant.)

About Jenn

Despite being the former digital marketing intern at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Jenn German does not like Mozart. Beethoven could've totally beaten him up. Also she has an arts management graduate degree from American University, but this changes nothing.
