This week’s Monday video comes courtesy of the great Dr. Carney, who informs me that this is “required” for my blog, and you know how professors are about requirements. For his ongoing efforts he shall be awarded the Well Played! Ain’t Baroque Medal of Violar (more on this new and exciting “honor” tomorrow Wednesday next week – don’t look at me, you’re the ones getting all excitable and making me rearrange my plans!). Says Dr. Carney: “With juries & auditions right around the corner, this is TOO scary…”
Says me: “Oh dear.”
I certainly am proud to win this prestigious award! This new and exciting “honor” that I will receive today… Wednesday… next week… gives me time to prepare a speech worthy of this event. Or at least enough time to google some other speech and post it as my own… See? Students DO teach! 😉
Now, now. Here at Ain’t Baroque we do not dabble in forgery. We are surprisingly accepting, however, of original works hastily finished ten minutes before class started.
Unless you would like to give Salvador Dali’s “I will be so brief I have already finished” speech. I think EVERYONE should give that one.
